| The Giving Heart Community Thanksgiving Feast Food Drive Thursday, November 14, 2007 |
In partnership with Radio One, The Giving Heart will hold a
community food drive. Tune in for more details as the date
draws closer.
When: Thursday, November 15th
Time: 10 am to 10 pm
Location: To be announced shortly!
Items collected during this event will be used in preparation
for the Thanksgiving Feast. In the tradition of "passing it
on", items above what is needed for our feast will be
donated in the following manner:
- food bags for those at the event who are in need of
additional nonperishable foods;
- through partnering with M.A.R.C.H. (Metropolitan Area
Resource Clearinghouse) to help stock emergency food
pantries within the Richmond area;
- by helping to contribute items of need for Freedom House
and their feeding programs.

Those interested in donating turkeys or pies are asked to check out our "special projects" area for more information on those specific needs. |
