Humble Beginnings

Humble Beginnings is the name we have given to our program
of offering donated items to those in need. It's our belief
that even the simplest of donations can help to make a
difference to those in our community.

As we broaden this project, we move beyond a simple
warehouse to also include a direct-service retail space that
offers the opportunity for recipients to hand select items,
develop job training skills and be pro-active in how
The Giving Heart can be a helping hand in providing for
the donated needs.

As this vision moves forward, we welcome contributions of excess
inventory, scratch and dent items, and community project
donations. Our major emphasis is on identifying sources for
mostly-new items, but we gladly welcome calls from those with
used furniture and appliance donations. If in doubt about what we
might wish to receive, contact us anyway. We're happy to offer
information if unable to accept the items ourselves.

CURRENT SPACE NEEDS

Temporary warehouse space for an upcoming distribution
(3-4 months duration, approximately 5,000 sq. ft.)

Affordable multi-use space for warehouse and retail use
(bus line location preferred)
