The Giving Heart
Community Thanksgiving Feast
2007 Partners and Donors

Every day many in the Greater Richmond area are without food to eat.
For Freedom House, such needs are met by offering meals to the
homeless and the working class poor.  For MARCH, help is provided to
seven area emergency food sites for families and individuals during
times of crisis.

Hunger is an all-too common occurrence and it is our pleasure to "pass
on" our own donation of excess food items that remain after the Giving
Heart's Community Thanksgiving Feast.

For more information on either agency, visit the websites of
M.A.R.C.H.
or
Freedom House.

For the second year, The Giving Heart is also excited to partner with
Radio One Richmond.  Comprised of 3 local radio stations - Power 92.1,
Praise 104.7 and 99.3/105.7 KISS-FM, Radio One has been the force
behind our annual food collection event.  Last year's collection resulted
in enough food to provide for our Community Thanksgiving Feast and
to pass along an additional 4,000 plus food items to M.A.R.C.H.
The Giving Heart is pleased to partner this year with two wonderful
organizations:
M.A.R.C.H.
(Metropolitan Area Resource Clearinghouse)
and Freedom House.
