TURKEY AND PIE COUNTDOWN October 3rd through November 13th Cooking for 3000 guests.....that's a lot of turkey, pie and everything else in between! Help us realize our goal of 300 turkeys and pies by shopping at Whole Foods - Short Pump between October 3rd and November 13th. Add $1, $5, $10 or $20 at the checkout register and The Giving Heart will be one step closer to creating a nutritious and tasteful Thanksgiving meal. |
FIVE AFTER FIVE (Click on icon for directions) Fridays in October 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Cost: $5.00 Come out to Whole Foods in Short Pump for a chance to wine, dine and donate. Sample five delicious dishes and five varieties of wine. $5.00 admission includes a souvenir Whole Foods wine glass. Proceeds during the entire month of October will benefit The Giving Heart. While visiting Whole Foods, make an additional donation towards our Turkey and Pie countdown! |
The Giving Heart Food Drive Presented by November 19-21, 2009 Huguenot High School Wal-Mart Supercenter 2501 Sheila Lane (Click on icon for directions) 10 am to 8 pm Students and faculty from Huguenot High School will be collecting items for use at our Giving Heart Thanksgiving Feast. Come out and show your support. Items collected are used in three ways: Food preparations; creating food and Giving Bags to distribute to our guests; and donating to other non-profits for use in their emergency food pantries. Special appearance on Thursday, November 19th: Join Radio One -- iPower 92.1, Praise 104.7 and 99.3/105.7 KISS-FM personalities as they help us in filling the containers. |
Community Chest Night Thursday Nights - November (Click on icon for directions) Capital Ale House - All Locations 5 pm to 10 pm Visit any of the Capital Ale locations - including Fredericksburg - on Thursdays in November and 25% of your food purchases will be donated to The Giving Heart.
